Fuel is the replacement for our old stud, Louisiana (read more about him below). Fuel has always been easy. His siblings have made excellent ranch and rope horses. For as much speed as Louisiana brings to a pedigree, he puts a lot of whoa in one as well. His dam is a full sister to one of the nicest Stetson sons we ever rode. Fuel is easy to look at and brings both power and class to mind when you see him. He is starting to head steers really well. We are excited to see his first foals showing up this spring!
Louisiana Fuel was an own son of the legendary stallion, Oklahoma Fuel, who is one of only a few horses to have run AAA at all seven official AQHA distances with a Speed Index of 108. Louisiana is a 1/2 brother to Oklahoma Top Hat who was PRCA head horse of the year not once, or twice, but 6 times! Louisiana was backed into the box to turn steers and tie down calves. He was a 1D barrel horse and earned his AQHA ROM on the race track as an 8-year-old. We feel lucky to have these royal bloodlines. You can see pictures of Louisiana Fuel under ‘Our Horses’ and ‘Reference Studs’.
